It was a slow week at the office I worked at since most of the work for vierdaagsefeesten was already done. I wanted to keep myself busy and realized that though for other events for the vierdaagse we made some sort of countdown, we didnt for the molenstraat, so I decided I’d make one. I instantly had an idea in mind. I had already started a little project with some gears and seeing one of the trademarks of Nijmegen is the old clock tower I thought it could fit well to make these gears the gears of the clock. After a lot of work painting all the gears and creating a seperate design for each of them I started to animate them and edit them all together, adding sound effects under them and making it a festive video. I’m very proud of the end result and would love to do something like this again in the future.
