Vroeger was alles beter, or in English “back in the day everything was better” was a project for a student organization that wanted to host a night in Aspen Valley Enschede. They didn’t want something that went too far back in time because it needed to be relatable to students. Seeing how I myself was just a bit older than the average student when I got this request, I decided to put in some items I remember from my youth together with items that we’re relevant just before or are collectables today like vinyl. So I decided to add a Gameboy and mp3 player together with a floppy disc and disco ball because even though these are older than the average student, they are still very recognizable of an era that has passed not long ago
